Our After-School Program
First Camp is a Licensed After-School Program at First Baptist Church Decatur located in downtown Decatur at 308 Clairemont Avenue, Decatur, Georgia 30030. For over thirty years we have been committed to furnishing quality care for elementary-aged children in the Decatur area. Our goal is to provide the students in our care with a safe, healthy, and educational environment. First Camp also holds full-day School Break Camps during the Decatur City break weeks, and full-day Summer Camps with field trips during the summer months.
Our School Break Camps
Our Break Camps involve a variety of different activities, including arts and crafts, group games, an optional movie, and plenty of movement. After-School enrollment is not a prerequisite to attending all-day camps. Registration is limited.
Areas available for camps are a baseball field, a large playground, an inside gym, a large games room, craft room, kitchen area, and several other classrooms. Because of the multiple play areas available, age groups, as well as different activities, are separated ensuring the safety of all campers.
Our Summer Camps
This summer First Camp is offering a variety of engaging themes for children ages 5 to 12. Camp hours are 8:30am to 5:30pm with an option of 5 days or 3 days.
Camp themes include Aqua World, Animal Kingdom, Young Artists, Science Discovery, Sports, Fairy Tales, Young Chef and Magic Tree House.
